Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer required for medical device manufacturing company in the midlands. This is an exciting role for an expanding company who have recently moved to a new building aswell as currently renovating a building. This is a great time to join a growing medical device company in a small r&d and design engineering group of 4 engineers. THe company specialises in the development, manufacture and marketing of a range of advanced technologies used for the management of a variety of wound and skin conditions. This is a replacement role and primarily involves process and some design work aswell as a strong focus on manufacturing. Also you will be working on the introduction of new products. THere will be some work on equipment. THe main equipment is packaging or rotary converging equipment. There will be some small design work in jigs and fixtures. Background Required. - Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical / Electronic / Automation / Process. - 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of medical device manufacturing environment including GMP would be an advantage. - Good Analytical Skill and Problem Solving. - Capable of working in a fast paced environment.
