What you need to know. You will work as an Electronic Design Engineer and will work for our medical device client based in Galway. You will report to the Lead Electronic Engineer and you will develop electronic circuit designs for new products. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organization. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Generation of requirement specifications and verification protocols during design and development process. Ensure proper conduct of electronic design projects and liaise with other departments as required. Lead technical root cause analyses in resolution of production or field quality issues. Design new and modify existing circuits/components to meet product specifications and customer needs. Act as a R&D representative on certain projects. Ensure designed products have a competitive advantage in the markets. Creation and development of innovative circuits. Conduct feasibility studies. What are we looking for? Desirable: Degree in Electronics Engineering. 3-5 years’ experience ideally with some experience in medical devices / electronics. Experience in electronic and electro-mechanical systems debug and design. Experience in concept generation and systems design. Excellent schematic design experience with strong analogue design experience. Awareness of C/C++ and assembler programming and techniques. Digital circuit experience and excellent documentation skills. Knowledge of the regulations in consumer and medical electronic products. Excellent attention to detail and commercially aware.
