An exciting opportunity for an Extrusion Manufacturing Supervisor has become available with our client in Co Roscommon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing or Process Engineer to progress their career in the Medical Device industry. Responsibilities. Act as the technical lead to the production team. Assist in the delivery of key performance metrics. Support the extrusion manager and other cross functional departments on the collation of data. Facilitate investigation, troubleshooting and reporting on system failures, product defects and customer complaints. Ensure that all products manufactured meet the specifications, performance & quality criteria of end users, customers, regulatory authorities and the company. Project manages and leads cross functional teams with responsibility for the introduction and validation of new equipment /technology in the extrusion area. Support the Quality Manager on resolution of quality issues. The Person. You must hold an Engineering Degree or a Degree in a relevant discipline or have at least 7 years Extrusion Manufacturing experience at a senior level. Medical Device manufacturing experience is essential. Extrusion/plastics manufacturing experience required. Excellent knowledge of production and quality systems in the health industry.
