What you need to know. You will work as a Project Manager - NPD and will work for our medical device client based in Galway. You will report to the Senior R&D Manager and you will manage new products through the company NPD framework. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organization. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Work with the commercial team to develop innovative quality solutions. Prepare for and schedule PAC meetings. Alongside management ensure all projects are adequately resourced. Plan and publish project budgets and costs. Work with other NPD Project Managers , Senior R&D Manager and the Management team. Ensure projects are in line with quality systems and ensure clinical data is always available for new product launches. Manage R&D Design Projects and manage the R&D design control milestones. Ensure that design control documentation is completed. Maintain product and process quality. What are we looking for? Desirable: Degree in Electronics / Mechanical / Software Engineering. 3-5 years’ experience ideally with some experience in medical devices / electronics with project management experience. Ability to plan and track projects and control costs. Project management experience with R &D/Product Development. Project management experience and PMI Certificate would be an advantage. Proven ability to motivate cross functional teams. Understanding of the quality and regulatory process. Previous risk management experience and using risk management tools.
