What you need to know. You will work as a Mechanical Engineer and will work for our Medical Device client based in Co. Offaly . This is a contract position initially with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organisation. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependent on experience. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Ensure design projects are completed on time and in budget. Provide technical expertise, guidance and supervision during project phase. Review change controls. Use CAD Techniques and model and prototype building for design and development. Assist with CAPA Investigations. Review and develop process and equipment validations and risk management summaries. Support Engineering and Manufacturing team and investigate issues when needed. Continuous improvement of manufacturing and test processes. What are we looking for? Desirable: Educated to degree level, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline. 2-3 years’ experience preferably in a medical devices sector. Experience in electronic and electro mechanical systems manufacturing. Knowledge of ISO Standards – ISO 13485. Process and equipment validation experience is desirable. Some knowledge of statistical analysis. Knowledge of materials (plastics, metals etc. Familiar with the requirements of validating products and processes. Excellent communication skills.
