The Hodson Bay Hotel is looking to recruit an experienced Cafe/Carvery Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time role involving both shift and weekend work. The Supervisor would be working closely with the Carvery Manager and will be responsible for the day to day running of the hotel's Carvery, including maintaining excellent standards of service, stocktaking, staff rostering, staff training & development.Food service standards will be key to this role, previous experience delivering high-quality food service is required.The ideal candidate will possess the following: At least 2 years management experience in a busy Cafe/Bistro/Restaurant environment. Excellent customer service & communication skills. Be a good team leader. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsShall have a proven ability to lead and motivate staff. Excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational & interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work.
