Position: Manufacturing Engineer. Salary: Attractive package for the right candidate. An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer has become available with our client in the West of Ireland. Working in a progressive medical device manufacturing environment, your responsibilities will include: Acting as the technical lead to the production team. Assisting in the delivery of key performance metrics. Supporting the Extrusion Manager and other cross functional departments on the collation of data. Facilitating investigation, trouble shooting and reporting on system failures, product defects and customer complaints. Ensuring that all products manufactured meet the specifications, performance & quality criteria of end users, customers, regulatory authorities and the company. Project management and leading cross functional teams with responsibility for the introduction and validation of new equipment /technology in the extrusion area. Supporting the Quality Manager on resolution of quality issues. As a suitable candidate for this role, you will be qualified to Degree level in Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 5 years in the area of extrusion manufacturing, at a senior level. Experience in medical device manufacturing would be essential. Excellent knowledge of production and quality systems in the health industry.
