Business Development Mger : Connaught & Midlands -. The position will focus on securing new business opportunities across the ERP and Business Accounting Solutions portfolio. Using a consultative sales approach in a professional manner and technical competency. A thorough understanding of ERP and Accounting Software and the ability to appreciate client business requirements is essential for this role. Duties and Responsibilities. Managing all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation through to proposal, onsite presentation and contract negotiations. Generating sales leads through cold calling and general territory management; working with internal marketing resources to maximise sales opportunities. Preparing quotations, tenders and sales proposals using standard pricing templates provided. Managing a qualified sales pipeline of opportunity and developing effective commercial contacts within targeted industries. Developing and implementing plans to your manager for acquiring new clients, including activity breakdowns, performance milestones, resource requirements and expense budgets. Preparing and presenting sales activity reports forecasts as requested by your manager. The Ideal Candidate will have: Proven track record of selling ERP and accounting solutions - ESSENTIAL. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets on a regular basis whilst ensuring customer expectations are always met. Experience in delivering sophisticated sales presentations at senior level with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent relationship and inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners and within the business.
