We have a vacancy for a Practice Nurse. This role may suit a junior Practice Nurse or a qualified Nurse with no General Practice experience (or limited) but who is enthusiastic, capable, organised, adaptable and willing to work as part of a committed team and learn on the job. An excellent work ethic, flexibility and team-work are a must. You will be responsible for the delivery of basic Practice nursing services and care to our Practice population. You will work collaboratively with our Clinical Team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery and implementation of Practice policies and procedures. You will perform a wide variety of functions including triaging, patient preparation and general care. The role will also require you to take over the phlebotomy function for the Practice. The nature and scope of the role may change and/or evolve during the term of employment to reflect changes in how the Practice operates. Hours of work will be from 08:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our Family Medical Practice is a registered Training Practice both at undergraduate and graduate level.
